The Gen-III ECWCS, created by the United States Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center, is the Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System. Consisting of a parka and trousers plus 20 other items of clothing, headwear, and footwear, this system provides the US military with the protection they need against the cold. Our Level-1 baselayers are inspired by the ECWCS design, offering exceptional warmth and fast-drying properties. Compressible and light, these garments are ideal for packing and transport.
